The hotel, affectionately called Laurin by the people of Bolzano, was built as early as 1910 and was without a doubt the first hotel on the square. The hotel masters the balancing act between tradition and modernity perfectly. The rooms are comfortable and elegant, the public areas sophisticated. The historic hotel bar is a meeting place for locals and guests, who all stroll through the spacious park. The beautifully landscaped pool, however, is reserved for hotel guests only.
